    Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) and the host Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL), saw Galesburg's basketball squad wallop Marion by a tally of 60-34.

    With the victory, Galesburg improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Silver Streaks travel to Mattoon (Mattoon, IL) to play the Greenwave in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 12-1.

    Next up, the Wildcats play the Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Marion will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record.
