The Gaston Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Leeds Greenwave to 41 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Etowah for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Gaston will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Southeastern (Remlap, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-11.
The Greenwave (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Glencoe was defeated by Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL), 60-40, in a non-league contest.
