The Marcus Marauders defeated the host Harker Heights Knights basketball team by a tally of 62-44 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Marauders now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prosper for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Marcus will confront a Eagles team coming off a 68-60 league loss to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-4.
The Knights (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Temple (Temple, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region II District 12 battle with a 3-17 record. In their last battle, Temple was toppled by Austin (Austin, TX), 42-31, in a non-league battle.
