The St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) basketball nipped the host Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL), 44-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The North Stars (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Hononegah (Rockton, IL). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, Hononegah got by Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 39-26, in a non-league test.
The Red Raiders now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Prospect for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Huntley will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 53-31 non-league win over Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Knights record now stands at 11-8.
