Tennessee High School Basketball - St. James nudges Johnson County

In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) basketball squad edged the host Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN), by a count of 28-27.

The Sharks (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Chiefs go into the non-league outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, North Myrtle Beach was tipped by Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC), 47-22, in a non-league outing.

The Longhorns now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Johnson County will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 55-22 non-league win over Hannah-Pamplico (Pamplico, SC). The Saints record now stands at 10-2.
