The South Aiken Thoroughbreds basketball team (Aiken, SC), dropped 51-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Josey Eagles (Augusta, GA)
The Eagles now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gray Collegiate Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, January 1. Josey will battle a War Eagles team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Somerset Academy Losee (North Las Vegas, NV). The War Eagles record now stands at 4-6.
The Thoroughbreds (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Thomson (Thomson, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Thomson prevailed over North Augusta (North Augusta, SC), 47-38, in a non-league battle.
