Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Naaman Forest Rangers (Garland, TX), 44-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Keller Central upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Chargers host Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX) to play the Bobcat in a 6A Region I District 4 bout on Friday, January 5. The Bobcat go into the bout with a record of 1-18. Byron Nelson lost 56-41 in their recent non-league bout against Round Rock (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the North Garland Raiders (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Naaman Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
