Texas High School Basketball - Keller Central can't hold off United

The United Longhorns basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Keller Central Chargers to 51 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Longhorns now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. United will battle a Eagles team coming off a 63-40 league win over Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 10-14.

The Chargers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Naaman Forest (Garland, TX). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Naaman Forest was nudged by Wylie (Wylie, TX), 75-37, in a league contest.
