North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilkes Central trounces Langtree Charter

December 28, 2023: Mooresville, NC 28117

The Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) basketball crushed the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), 52-22 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Community School of Davidson walloped West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 64-11, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Iredell for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Langtree Charter will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 64-11 non-league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-8.
