California High School Basketball - Leland edges Menlo-Atherton

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), by a margin of 67-65.

The Chargers (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 11-0 record. In their last outing, Christopher got by Valley Christian (San Jose, CA), 44-37, in a non-league outing.

The Bears now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hollister for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Menlo-Atherton will encounter a Haybalers squad coming off a 58-41 non-league loss to Fremont (Sunnyvale, CA). The Haybalers record now stands at 4-4.
