Nebraska High School Basketball - Lourdes Central Catholic can't hold off Thayer Central

The Thayer Central Titans basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Lourdes Central Catholic Knights to 52 in the Titans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Titans now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Superior for a C2 District 2 contest on Friday, January 5. Thayer Central will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 54-39 non-league win over Cozad (Cozad, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Southern (Wymore, NE). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Southern was nudged by Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE), 66-11, in a non-league contest.
