The Sulphur Bluff Bears basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting McLeod Longhorns to 26 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lindsay for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Sulphur Bluff will meet a Knights team coming off a 47-42 non-league win over Saltillo (Saltillo, TX). The Knights record now stands at 11-1.
The Longhorns (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge ran past Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX), 41-38, in a non-league contest.
