Georgia High School Basketball - Medina overwhelms Sequoyah

December 28, 2023: Canton, GA 30115

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH) and the host Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), saw Medina's basketball squad wallop Sequoyah by a tally of 61-38.

With the victory, Medina improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Battling Bees travel to Wasilla (Wasilla, AK) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Wasilla lost 50-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Sequoyah will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 67-49 non-league win over Huss (Gastonia, NC).
