In Thursday's non-league match, the host Varsity Opponent basketball team scored a tight 53-48 triumph over the Mesquite Skeeters.
In their next game, the meet the Rockford Rams (Rockford, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Varsity Opponent will attempt to move on its 60-235 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 5-0 record after their 71-57 non-league win over West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI).
