The Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Newton Local Indians (Pleasant Hill, OH), 39-27 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH). The Cavaliers go into the Three Rivers test with a 1-5 record.
The Indians now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Mississinawa Valley for a Western Ohio test on Thursday, January 4. Newton Local will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Botkins (Botkins, OH). The Blackhawks record now stands at 7-4.
