The Spain Park Jaguars topped the visiting Montevallo Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 41-31 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Jaguars face the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. Spain Park will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record.

With the defeat, Montevallo moves to 6-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, December 29. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-9.
