Maine High School Basketball - Waterville knocked off by Mount Abram

The Mount Abram Roadrunners basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Waterville Panthers to 24 in the Roadrunners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Roadrunners now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Mount Abram will meet a Falcons team coming off a 47-45 league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Black Bears enter the B North contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Maranacook ran past Mount Abram (Strong, ME), 44-17, in a non-league contest.
