North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Prep knocked off by Neuse Charter

The Neuse Charter Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Wilson Prep Tigers to 39 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Neuse Charter will battle a Patriots team coming off a 48-14 non-league loss to North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-5.

The Tigers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Pride enter the 1A Tar Roanoke contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, KIPP Pride was defeated by Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 59-7, in a non-league contest.
