With the victory, Pike Central improves its record to 2-14 on the campaign. The Chargers host Washington (Washington, IN) to confront the Hatchets in a Pocket challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Hatchets come into the challenge with a record of 14-3.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Orleans Bulldogs (Orleans, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. North Daviess will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN).
