Illinois High School Basketball - Oak Park-River Forest knocked off by Taft

The Taft Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conant for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Taft will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-19 non-league win over Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 6-9.

The Huskies (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Park was defeated by Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL), 50-19, in a non-league contest.
