The Riverton Hawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Pana Panthers to 40 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillsboro for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Riverton will meet a Hiltoppers team coming off a 65-30 non-league loss to PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Hiltoppers record now stands at 9-9.

Next up, the Panthers play the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) in a South Central bout, on Thursday, January 4. Pana will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record.
