The Sundown Roughnecks (Sundown, TX) basketball crushed the host Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), 63-26 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Roughnecks (11-10) will now prepare for their test against Tulia (Tulia, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Tulia walloped Andrews (Andrews, TX), 42-34, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Portales for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Pecos will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Levelland (Levelland, TX). The Rams record now stands at 6-3.
