Tennessee High School Basketball - Stone Memorial knocked off by Pickens

The Pickens Dragons basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Stone Memorial Panthers to 53 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Dragons now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville Central for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Pickens will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 49-34 non-league win over Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 9-2.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cookeville (Cookeville, TN). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Cookeville ran past Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN), 53-42, in a non-league contest.
