Throckmorton Greyhounds (Throckmorton, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), 60-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Throckmorton upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 11-9. Iowa Park won 49-32 in their recent non-league bout against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Pilot Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 52-38 non-league win over Saint Jo (Saint Jo, TX).
