California High School Basketball - South Tahoe tops Portola

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) and the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), saw South Tahoe's basketball squad knock off Portola by a count of 36-24.

With the victory, South Tahoe upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to play the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. McQueen lost 37-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Wooster (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 53-18 non-league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
