North Carolina High School Basketball - Rolesville nudges Watauga

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC) basketball squad edged the host Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC), by a count of 55-52.

The Rams (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Mavericks go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Mallard Creek held off Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC), 60-51, in a non-league outing.

The Pioneers now hold a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Watauga will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 60-51 non-league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
