The Southland Rebels basketball team (Adams, MN), was overwhelmed 69-33 in Thursday's league battle with the host Rushford-Peterson Trojans (Rushford, MN)

The Trojans now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lester Prairie for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Rushford-Peterson will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-52 league win over West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.

The Rebels (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons come into the A Section 1 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Fillmore Central was overwhelmed by Roosevelt (Minneapolis, MN), 52-42, in a non-league battle.
