In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Westlake Thunder basketball team scored a decisive 54-29 triumph over the Sky View Bobcats.

In their next game, the Thunder meet the Ridgeline Riverhawks (Millville, UT) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Westlake will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Riverhawks enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 55-48 non-league win over Rigby (Rigby, ID).

With the defeat, Sky View moves to 6-4 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Springville (Springville, UT) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league match on Friday, December 29. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 2-7. Springville lost 46-29 in their recent non-league match against Bountiful (Bountiful, UT)
