In Thursday's non-league outing, the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) basketball squad nipped the host Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), by a margin of 38-34.
The Pointers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, OH). The Trojans go into the Ohio Valley outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Portsmouth got by Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH), 75-39, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Adena for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Valley will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 56-53 non-league win over South Point (South Point, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 9-1.
