Minnesota High School Basketball - Walker-Hackensack-Akeley thwarts South Ridge

The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves (Walker, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN), 65-54 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wolves (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Staples-Motley (Staples, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Staples-Motley notched a victory over Pillager (Pillager, MN), 71-61, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hill City/Northland for a A Section 7 test on Tuesday, January 2. South Ridge will encounter a squad coming off a 41-38 non-league loss to Greenway (Coleraine, MN). The record now stands at 5-4.
