St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Valor Christian Lions (Alpharetta, GA), 68-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, St. Francis upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Knights host Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Fayette County won 45-33 in their recent non-league bout against Monroe (Albany, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA) in a GAPPS - I-AA Region 1 bout, on Monday, January 8. Valor Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 73-25 non-league loss to Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA).
