Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Norco Cougars (Norco, CA) in a Big VIII challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Corona will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA).

The Jaguars now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Academy for Academic Excellence for a Cross Valley challenge on Wednesday, January 3. University Prep will confront a Knights team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Norton Science & Language Academy (San Bernardino, CA). The Knights record now stands at 6-7.
