Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Crescenta Valley Falcons (La Crescenta, CA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots confront the Birmingham Patriots (Lake Balboa, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Liberty will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Hart (Newhall, CA).
