The Rim of the World Fighting Scots smashed the host Hesperia Scorpions soccer squad by a margin of 8-2 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Fighting Scots (7-7) will now prepare for their game against San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA). The Spartans go into the San Andreas game with a 6-7 record.
The Scorpions (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Serrano (Phelan, CA). The Diamondbacks go into the Mojave River game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Serrano was overwhelmed by Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA), 4-0, in a non-league game.
