Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars (Boynton Beach, FL) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Palmetto Ridge Bears (Naples, FL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars confront the Ponte Vedra Sharks (Ponte Vedra, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Somerset Academy - Canyons will attempt to better on its 13-3 season record. The Sharks enter the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL).

The Bears now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bonita Springs for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12.
