North Carolina High School Basketball - East Wake ripped by Panther Creek

December 28, 2023: Wendell, NC 27591

The Panther Creek Catamounts basketball team scored 78 points and held the host East Wake Warriors to 38 in the Catamounts non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Catamounts now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal Gibbons for a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. Panther Creek will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Garner (Garner, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-1.

Next up, the Warriors play the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. East Wake will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 63-35 non-league loss to Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC).
