Redmond Mustangs (Redmond, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sammamish RedHawks (Bellevue, WA), 58-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Redmond upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Mount Si (Snoqualmie, WA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Mount Si won 52-33 in their recent non-league bout against Newport - Bellevue (Bellevue, WA)

Next up, the RedHawks clash with the Lindbergh Eagles (Renton, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Sammamish will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 50-29 non-league loss to Cedarcrest (Duvall, WA).
