San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA), 45-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Diego upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Cavers travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Clairemont lost 43-32 in their recent non-league bout against Escondido (Escondido, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the High Tech SD Storm (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 46-42 non-league loss to Sweetwater (National City, CA).
