The Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball were winner over the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 63-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Raptors now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bradford Prep for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Mountain Island Charter will play a Bears team coming off a 80-63 non-league win over Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-4.
