The Bottineau Braves/Stars (Bottineau, ND) basketball edged the visiting Alexander (Alexander, ND), 50-43 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Braves/Stars now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Grafton for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Bottineau will play a Spoilers team coming off a 58-53 non-league win over Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Spoilers record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Alexander falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The host Divide County (Crosby, ND) to play the Maroons in a B District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 0-4.
