Florida High School Basketball - Alonso holds off Nature Coast Tech

The Alonso Ravens basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks to 40 in the Ravens non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Ravens now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Alonso will confront a Dragons team coming off a 72-49 non-league loss to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Dragons record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Nature Coast Tech falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 1.
