The Alto Yellowjackets basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Harleton Wildcats to 55 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Overton for a 2A Region III District 22 game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Harleton falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 8-11. Hughes Springs lost 40-35 in their recent non-league game against West Rusk (New London, TX)
