Virginia High School Basketball - Legacy Academy triumphant over Amelia County

December 28, 2024: Amelia Court House, VA 23002

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Legacy Academy (Richmond, VA) and the host Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA), observed Legacy Academy's basketball team overwhelm Amelia County by a score of 81-39.

The (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Dukes come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) in a James River challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Amelia County will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 62-53 non-league loss to Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA).
