Next, the Warriors clash with the Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 test, on Tuesday, December 31. South Grand Prairie will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Colts come into the test with a 9-10 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Lamar (Arlington, TX).

The Eagles (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Denton (Denton, TX). The Broncos come into the 5A Region I District 6 test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Denton bounced Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX), 56-31, in a league test.
