The Hampton Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Ashdown Panthers to 61 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Junction City for a 2A Region 8 game on Monday, January 6. Hampton will confront a Dragons team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Ashdown falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Hope (Hope, AR) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 3-0. Hope won 50-42 in their recent non-league game against Ashdown (Ashdown, AR)
