North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain View Prep holds off Asheville

December 28, 2024: Asheville, NC 28801

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Mountain View Prep Stars basketball team scored a close 68-61 triumph over the Asheville Cougars.

The Stars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers go into the non-league contest with a 3-13 record.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Asheville will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 61-57 non-league win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN).
