The Aubrey Chaparrals basketball team scored 82 points and limited the visiting Lorena Leopards to 50 in the Chaparrals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chaparrals now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Van Alstyne for a 4A Region II District 9 game on Friday, January 3. Aubrey will confront a Panthers team coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent (, ). The Panthers record now stands at 7-15.

With the loss, Lorena falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Chaparral (Killeen, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 14-8. Chaparral won 70-48 in their recent non-league game against Lake Belton (Temple, TX)
