The Austin Packers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Minneapolis South Tigers to 51 in the Packers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Packers now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Mayo for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Austin will confront a Spartans team coming off a 82-46 non-league loss to Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Minneapolis South falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Washburn (Minneapolis, MN) to confront the Millers in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Millers go into the game with a record of 2-5.
