Ohio High School Basketball - Lake bested by Austintown-Fitch

The Lake Blue Streaks basketball squad (Uniontown, OH), lost 38-23 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH)

With the victory, Austintown-Fitch advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to meet the Raiders in a non-league battle on Monday, December 30. The Raiders enter the battle with a record of 4-1. South Range won 54-52 in their recent non-league battle against West Branch (Beloit, OH)

The Blue Streaks now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoover for a Federal battle on Friday, January 3. Lake will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 6-2.
