The Zephyr Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Bangs Dragons to 30 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Baird for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. Zephyr will confront a Bears team coming off a 45-38 non-league win over Highland (Roscoe, TX). The Bears record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Bangs falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Roscoe (Roscoe, TX) to confront the Plowboys in a 2A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Plowboys go into the game with a record of 16-2. Roscoe lost 60-56 in their recent non-league game against New Deal (New Deal, TX)
